Taliban killed a school deputy principal in Shendand district of Herat province.
Jailani Farhad, spokesman for Herat governor, said that a number of tribal elders were abducted yesterday when they were on their way to attend a party.
Farhad added that among those abducted was deputy principal of a high school from Shendand district who was killed by Taliban.
He further stated that the deputy principal was killed in Kalhia Gorge area of the district.
Taliban militants are yet to comment on the incident.
