Afghan President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul today for Paktia province where he will inaugurate a number of key projects.
A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Ghani will inaugurate the Paktia sub-station power project, the Gardez-Zurmat Road, a new housing project and a new Paktia industrial park, as well as the new police headquarters building.
On arrival in Paktia, Ghani was welcomed by local officials, security personnel and tribal elders.
No further details were given in the statement.
