Taliban militants have sustained casualties in Afghan security forces’ air operations in Herat province.
Jailani Farhad, spokesman for Herat governor, told Killid that the strikes targeted a Taliban gathering in Zerkoh district last night in which a vehicle full of explosives was destroyed.
He added that Taliban militants also sustained casualties but did not provide figure.
Zerkoh is a newly-established district of Herat where Taliban militants are actively operating in parts of it.
