Three Insurgents Killed, Two Injured in Helmand

A press release from Maiwand 215 Military Corps stated that three armed insurgents were killed and two injured in a joint military operation conducted by Afghan and foreign forces in Shakar Shelai area of Sangen district.
The statement added that Afghan security forces seized a large amount of Taliban weapons and ammunition during night operations in parts of the province.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
