Two children were killed and 17 injured in an explosion in Nadersha Kot district of Khost province yesterday.
A security source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told media that the incident happened nearby a Madrasa in Zinokhail area of the district.
The type of the blast is yet to be known but the source added that it might be a mortar shell explosion.
It is reported that all those injured are under 18.
