Security officials in Nangarhar said that 12 Daesh militants were killed and four injured in Haska Mina and Nazyani districts of the province.
Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Military Corps, told Killid that six Daesh militants were killed and two injured in an airstrike targeting a Daesh hideout in Gorgorie area of Haska Mina last night.
He added lots of ammunition of Daesh were also destroyed.
Faqiri further stated that six Daesh militants were killed and two injured in infighting in Dowakholai and Petomena area of Nazyani.
Daesh militants are yet to comment.
