At least two border policemen were killed in a car bomb in Helmand province this morning.
The attack took place at about 6:0 am local time in Nad Ali district while the border police had gathered in the area, spokesman for the provincial governor, Omar Zwak told Killid.
“A military operation was launched a few days ago in that area and the blast happened while the border police were together,” Zwak said.
Meanwhile a security source, speaking on the condition of anonymity told Killid, that six border policemen were killed in the blast.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the blast.
