Security officials in Nangarhar said that six Daesh militants were killed in a drone strike in Nazyani district.
A press release from Selab 201 Military Corps stated that the strike was conducted in Neshtar Kando area of the district late yesterday.
The statement added that there was no civilian casualties and a large amount of Daesh ammunition was also destroyed.
Daesh militants are yet to comment on the strike.
