A man killed two pregnant women in Karokh district of Herat province last night.
Mohammad Shafi Zafar, prosecutor at Karokh district, said that the man 23-year old killed his wife and his sister, both of whom were pregnant.
His sister was transferred to hospital after the incident but succumbed to her injuries.
Zafar added that the man has been arrested and his case is currently under investigation.
Zafar cited family violence as the main motive behind the incident.
