A young woman in Ghor province ended her life by drinking acid last night.
Iqbal Nizame, spokesman for Ghor police, told Killid that the 17-year woman committed suicide in Feroz Koh, provincial capital of Ghor.
Police have arrested mother and husband of the woman in connection with the incident.
Nizame added that the motive behind the incident is yet to be known.
Family violence has been cited as the main reason behind suicide in the province.
