At least 13 Daesh militants were killed in Afghan security forces’ air strikes in Darzab district of Jawzjan province yesterday evening.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee, spokesman for Shaheen 209 Military Corps, said that 22 Taliban and Daesh insurgents were either killed or injured in Saturday’s operations in north and northeast provinces.
“Six Taliban insurgents along with their weapons and ammunition, were arrested in Kunduz province,” Rezaee added.
Rezaee further stated that two Taliban fighters were killed and one injured in a separate operation in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of Baghlan province.
