Six civilians were either killed or injured in two separate incidents in Laghman and Nangarhar provinces.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, said that a mine placed in a Toyota vehicle exploded in Laghman Ada area of Jalalabad, provincial capital of Nangarhar, yesterday evening in which three civilians were injured.
Sarhadi Zowak, spokesman for Laghman governor, said that three civilians were killed in an old mine explosion left over from the time of jihad, killing three civilians in Alisheng district.
He added the incident happened yesterday afternoon.
