Five Taliban Insurgents Killed in Uruzgan

Afghan security forces pushed back Taliban offensives in Uruzgan province.
Dost Mohammad Nayeb, spokesman for Uruzgan governor, told Killid that Taliban militants launched attacks on Afghan security forces’ check posts in Trinkot which was met with severe resistance from Afghan forces.
He added five Taliban insurgents were killed during the clashes and there were no casualties among Afghan forces.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
