Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that Afghan National Army (ANA) Air Force targeted Taliban hideouts in Helmand province.
A press release from MoD stated that the hideouts were targeted in Marja, Nawa, Kajaki, and Mosa Qala districts.
The statement added that 56 Taliban insurgents were killed and six injured.
The statement further stated that a mine producing factory, one vehicle, two motorbikes, 180 mines, and 70 weapons of Taliban were destroyed.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
