Five individuals have been detained by Faryab police in connection with the murder of a woman.
Local officials in Faryab said that the men were detained in connection with murder of Aziza, female policewoman, who was shot dead by unknown gunmen two days ago.
The officials added that a five-year old child of Aziza was also injured in the incident.
Abdul Karim Yorush, spokesman for Faryab police, told Killid that the motive behind the incident is yet to be known.
