Security officials in Nangarhar said that 24 Daesh militants were killed in Afghan security forces’ airstrikes in Achin district.
Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Military Corps, told Killid that the operations were conducted over the past 24 hours.
He added that in a separate incident three Lashkar-e-Islam militants were killed and three injured in clash with Daesh militants in the province.
Faqiri further stated that six Daesh militants were killed and four injured during the clash.
The Incident took place in the vicinity of Mamand Dara area of Achin.
Daesh militants have not commented on both incidents yet.
