Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that some hundred insurgents were killed over the past 24 hours during Afghan forces’ operations across the country.
A press release from MoD stated that the insurgents were killed in Faryab, Kandahar, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Helmand, Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces.
The statement added that during the operations security forces notched up many achievements.
Taliban have not commented about the operations yet.
