Taliban Ban Telecom Services after 3 PM in Kunduz

Over the past three months Taliban forced telecom companies into suspending their services after 5 pm in Kunduz province but now for the past three weeks telecom companies suspend their services after 3 pm every day.

Taliban Ban Telecom Services after 3 PM in Kunduz

Over the past three months Taliban forced telecom companies into suspending their services after 5 pm in Kunduz province but now for the past three weeks telecom companies suspend their services after 3 pm every day.
Residents of Kunduz said that telecom network do not work from 3 pm, creating serious problems for them. They asked the government to address this issue.
Meanwhile Amruddin Wali, member of Kunduz provincial council, asked government officials to get license of those telecommunication network that stopped their activities on the order of Taliban in the province.
Killid tried to interview provincial telecommunication officials but no information was made available.
Zabiullah Mujahid, a so-called Taliban spokesman, confirmed the ban on telecom services at night.
