The government declared Sunday (today) as a national day of mourning and Monday a closed holiday following a deadly cowardly attack in Kabul.
A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Afghan government declared today, Sunday, a national day of mourning to pay respect to the martyred of the recent terrorist attacks in Kabul, Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces.
The statement added that Afghanistan flag would fly half-mast on government and foreign offices.
The statement added that a special memorial services would also be held on Tuesday at all mosques across the country to pray for the martyred citizens.
More than 100 people were killed and over hundreds injured in the recent terrorist attacks in Kabul over the past few days.
