Building of Sada-e-Adalat (justice voice) local radio station was set on fire and all its facilities were destroyed.
Provincial governor and police chief claimed that the station got fire due to gas cylinder explosion.
Meanwhile Abdul Salam Samim, director of Sada-e- Adalat radio station, told Killid that security institutions want to hide their weakness thus allege the reason behind the fire is gas cylinder explosion.
He added that the station may have been set on fire by some individuals.
Samim further stated that the financial loss incurred to them might be around one million Afs ($14500).
The Afghan media have flourished since the fall of the Taliban in 2001, but journalists often face threats from militants and warlords for airing critical stories, playing music or employing women.
