Pakistan condemned the terrorist attack on Kabul’s Intercontinental Hotel that killed five people and injured several others.
Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal condemned the incident in a statement and said terrorism was not acceptable.
Gunmen stormed Kabul’s Intercontinental Hotel on Saturday night, seizing hostages and exchanging gunfire with security forces.
Several people had been killed and injured in the attack; however, official figure is yet to be determined as the clash is still ongoing between security forces and the militants.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
