Security head of Farah police commandment was killed last night.
Naser Mehre, spokesman for Farah governor, told Killid that Gul Bahar Mujahid, security head of Farah police commandment, was killed in a roadside mine blast.
He added that Taliban militants attacked a police check post in Poshtroad district last night; Mujahid along with other reinforcements was on his way to the post when his vehicle hit a roadside mine.
Mehre further stated that three policeman were injured in the incident.
Meanwhile Iqbal Baher, provincial police spokesman, said that Farah security head was killed and five policemen were injured.
