Parliament Approves Budget for 1397 Fiscal Year

Wolesi Jirga (Lower house of parliament) approved the budget for the 2018 fiscal year today in its plenary session.
Parliament members (MPs) rejected the budget on December 2017 last year and labeled it as unbalanced.
They had asserted that the provincial allocation of funds had been unbalanced and the budget needed amendment
The budget is for a total 266, 1 billion Afs and development budget is 110 billion Afs.
