Four Civilians Killed in Taliban Rocket Attack in Faryab

Local officials in Faryab said that at least four civilians were killed this morning when a rocket landed in a Bazar in Faryab province.
According to the officials, 42 other civilians were injured in the attack.

Khwaja Sabz Posh district governor Abdullah Masoumi said the rocket was fired by the Taliban and instead of hitting the district council building it hit the Bazar.

According to Masoumi Tuesday is Bazar day and dozens of people from surrounding villages had been there to do their shopping.

So far no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
