Security officials in Laghman said that 20 Daesh militants were killed in Afghan security forces’ airstrikes in Alingar district.
Brigadier Shrin Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 corps, told Killid that the strikes were conducted last night in Norulam area of the district.
He added that among those killed were two prominent Daesh commanders.
Daesh militants are yet to comment on the strikes.
