At least 11 people were killed and 25 others were injured in an explosion in Banaee area in Kabul’s PD 9 on Thursday evening.
According to the reports, the suicide attackers blew his explosives last night around 8:30 pm when police forces members had a mission in the area.
Kabul residents said the explosion was heard even in far areas around the city.
Earlier in the day, a demonstration was launched by locals in the area. The local residents impeded road construction workers to destroy shops and carry on the project.
President Ashraf Ghani in a statement condemned the explosion and called it an inhuman act against Afghans.
An ARG (Presidential Palace) statement said the president assigned a team to probe the incident.
