At least 14 border police members were either killed or injured in an explosion in Marja district of Helmand.
A reliable security source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Killid that two vehicles of Afghan border police struck a roadside mine yesterday evening.
He added that six border police members were killed and eight injured.
Meanwhile Abdul Salam Afghan, provincial governor’s spokesman, said he is unaware of the incident.
Taliban militants are ye to comment.
