President Ashraf Ghani reviewed security situation of Faryab, Balkh, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Badghis, Kunar, Nuristan and Herat in a meeting held in ARG (Presidential Palace) late yesterday.
A press release from ARG stated that security institutions were instructed to improve the situation in the provinces.
The statement added that Ghani praised Afghan National Defence and Security Forces’ (ANDSF) recent achievements in cracking down on insurgents.
