An Iranian national was arrested on drug trafficking charges in Farah province.
Iqbal Baher, spokesman for Farah police, told Killid that the man wanted to transfer three kilograms of heroin to his country while he was arrested by security forces in ‘Mel 78’ border.
He added that the drugs were placed in a vehicle.
In a separate incident, a civilian was shot dead by Taliban in Farah.
According to Baher, Taliban shot dead the man in public to create fear and terror among people.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
