Local officials in Nangarhar said that nine Daesh insurgents were either killed or injured in ongoing ‘Selab 4/9’ operations in Khogyani district.
Ataullah Khogyani, provincial governor’s spokesman, said that four Daesh militants were killed and five injured in ground and air operations over the past 24 hours.
He added that Perakhail and some other areas were cleared of Daesh in the district.
Daesh militants are yet to comment.
