Two people were killed and at least 29 others were injured in a car bomb explosion targeting a security convoy in Helmand province yesterday evening.
Abdul Salam Afghan, spokesman for Helmand police, told Killid that the blast ripped through the convoy of the Public Order Police in Lashkargah, provincial capital of Helmand.
He added that among those injured were 12 public order police.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
