President Ashraf Ghani has approved Balkh Governor Atta Mohammad Noor’s resignation today.
Munira Yousufzada, spokesperson for Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), posted on her Facebook page today that Ghani has approved Noor’s resignation.
President Ghani has appointed Engineer Mohammad Dawood as the new governor for Balkh.
Noor has not commented on his resignation yet.
