Officials at Kabul Municipality said that they have transferred bodies of 17 homeless drug addicts who have died due to subzero temperatures to forensic from different parts of Kabul city.
Rahil Kohistani, head of cultural department at Kabul Municipality, said that most of the bodies were collected from PD 6th and Pul-e-Sokhta area of Kabul.
The Afghan capital is plagued with homeless drug addicts, largely a consequence of the widespread opium production in the country.
