Global Link and Analysis Hub (AGAH) head, Intizar Khadim, was released after spending three days in intelligence service’s custody yesterday.
Intizar Khadim was detained by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel as he returned to Afghanistan from India on last Wednesday.
Earlier, the Wolesi Jirga members and civil society activists said Khadim had been arrested in violation of the law and should be set free at the earliest possible.
A security forces, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that Khadim was released on Saturday evening.
