Afghan Government Condemns Terror Attack on Mosque in Egypt

Afghan government condemned, in the strongest possible terms, the terrorist blast that targeted Al Rawdah Mosque in Bir Al Abed, Egypt, on Friday.
Over two hundred worshippers were killed or injured in the attack.
A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Afghan people have suffered from menace of terrorists and attacks over the past few decades and can feel the pain and suffer of the victim families in Egypt.
“While strongly deploring this criminal act and rejecting all forms of terrorism and violence, the Afghan government expresses its firm solidarity with and support for Egypt, in its fight against this serious crime,” the statement reads.
The statement further stated that Afghan government expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs and the government and people of Egypt while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
