Taliban Attack Repulsed in Farah

At least eight Taliban fighters were killed and seven injured during clashes with Afghan security forces in Farah province.
Iqbal Baher, spokesman for Farah police, told Killid that Taliban militants launched a coordinated attack on police check posts.
He added that some 250 Taliban insurgents attacked four check posts in Sarbazar, Wasatbazar, Mandave, and Sarepol areas last night.
Baher further stated that Taliban offensive was met with severe resistance.
Baher confirmed that six policemen were killed and eight injured.
