Shaheen Asmayee Football Club won the Afghan Premier League’s (APL) championship for the fourth time after winning the final match against De Maiwand Atalan from the south zone last night.
The match ended 4-3 in favor of Shaheen Asmayee.
The game started with the storm of strikes from the two sides. Shaheen scored two goals at the end of the first half. The second half was started by attacks from De Maiwand Atalan players which successfully scored their first goal in 46th minute of the match. The second half ended with a draw of 2-2 between the two finalists.
The two teams played for another 30 minutes which finally Shaheen was in the lead and hit two more goals which made the result 4-3 in its favor.
This is the second consecutive year that Atalan and Shaheen are battling in the final match.
