Taliban militants carried out a massive suicide bombing attack against Afghan security forces’ facility in Maiwand district of Kandahar. Dawlat Waziri, spokesman for Ministry of Defence (MoD), told Killid that 43 army soldiers were killed and nine injured. Sources said the attack took place on Wednesday night after two suicide attackers with Humvee vehicles detonated their explosive-laden vehicles. Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
