At least 10 people were injured in an explosion in Trinkot, provincial capital of Uruzgan. Ziaurahman Niaze, head physician at Uruzgan provincial hospital, said that the blast happened late yesterday in Charmonar area of the city. He added that one policeman and nine civilians were injured. Security officials are yet to comment on the incident. In a separate incident a man was injured in an explosion in Jalalabad, provincial capital of Nangarhar. Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, said that the blast occurred late yesterday in PD 4th area of the city. No group has claimed responsibility.
