Ahmad Muner Farhad, spokesman for Balkh governor, was injured in an attack by unknown gunmen earlier today. Sher Jan Durrani, spokesman for Balkh police, told Killid that two men opened fire on Muner near his residence this morning. He added that Muner’s condition is not critical. He further stated that no one has been arrested in connection with the crime but police have launched an investigation to identify and arrest the perpetrators. No group has claimed responsibility.
