Ministry of Finance announced that the third Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) will be held in Kabul tomorrow. Ajmal Hamed Abdul Rahimzai, spokesman for finance ministry, told Killid that sidelines of the meeting will be held in Kabul this afternoon. Abdul Rahimzai added that SOM summit follows last year’s Brussels conference, at which new development assistance pledges through 2020 were made. Jawed Faisal, deputy spokesman to Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, told media that in the meeting the Afghan government will address the national anti-corruption plan and will urge the international community to adjust their assistance based on government’s priorities.
