Afghan border police recovered 12 weapons from a truck bringing refugee families from Pakistan to Afghanistan in Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar province. A press release from Nangarhar governor’s office stated that 11 pistols and one Kalashnikov and 22 magazines were recovered from the truck during a search by the Torkham Commissary personnel associated with the 1st Border Police Brigade. He added that two individuals were arrested in connection with the weapons.
