At least two Taliban insurgents were killed and four injured in a joint military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Nawa district of Helmand. A press release from Maiwand 215 Corps stated that the operation was conducted last night in Negare area of the district. The statement added that four suspects were also arrested. Taliban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
