Local officials in Nangarhar said that 12 Daesh insurgents were killed in operations in the province. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police, told Killid that nine Daesh militants were killed in a drone strike conducted by foreign forces in Dage Mandara area of Achin district last night. He added that a large cache of weapons and ammunition of Daesh were also destroyed. He further stated that three Pakistani militants were also killed in a special operation conducted by Afghan Special Forces in Chardehe area of Batikoot district. Daesh militants are yet to comment on the incident.
