Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs said that the first flight of Afghan pilgrims will return to Afghanistan today. Daeulhaq Abed, deputy Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, said that some1, 000 pilgrims would be brought back home in total three flights. He added that return of all pilgrims will take about a month. Some 30,000 Afghan pilgrims have flown to Saudi Arabia for the performance of this year’s pilgrimage from airports in Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif, Kandahar and Herat cities.
