At least 15 Afghan policemen were killed in a US airstrike in Greshk district of Helmand. A security source in Helmand speaking on the condition of anonymity said that the incident happened at 4 pm yesterday. Omar Zowak, spokesman for Helmand governor, confirmed the airstrike but said it was not clear whether the airstrike was conducted by Afghan forces or foreign forces. Zowak did not provide exact figures of casualties but asserted that a delegation has been sent to investigate the incident. Meanwhile American forces acknowledged their airstrike mistakenly targeted a police post in Helmand.
