Local officials in Faryab said that four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed in a roadside bombing in Almar district of the province. Mohammad Saleh Saleh, district governor of Almar, said that the incident happened yesterday afternoon when a roadside bomb ripped through an ANA vehicle in Temar Koprik area of the district. He added that the vehicle belonging to 1sth Brigadier of 209 Shaheen Military Corps was destroyed in the blast. No group has claimed responsibility.
