Officials at Ministry of Education (MoE) said that some 3.5 million children have been deprived of education due to insecurity across the country. Deputy Education Minister Mohammad Ibrahim Shenwari said that quality education and training services for all people are their top priority. He added that 50,000 of 200,000 school teachers are nonprofessional. Shenwari further stated that 3.5 million children, including 2.5 million girls, are deprived of education due to insecurity in the country.
