11 Taleban Insurgents Killed, 5 Injured in Helmand

At least 16 Taleban insurgents were either killed or injured in a joint military operation conducted by Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Greshk and Garmser districts. A press release from Maiwand 215 Corps stated that a number of light and heavy weapons of Taleban were also destroyed. The statement added that 11 Taleban insurgents were killed and five inured in the past 24 hours in parts of the districts. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
