Security officials in Nangarhar reported that Taleban shadow district governor was killed in the province. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police, told Killid that Wafiullah, shadow governor for Khogyani district, was killed by Afghan security forces in Kozbeyar area of the district while he was brawling with locals. Khogyani added that a Taleban insurgent was also wounded. Taleban militants have not commented on the incident yet.
